At The Alexander House, we believe that everyone deserves a safe place to call home, an opportunity to rebuild, and the support needed to move forward with dignity and purpose.
Founded by two sisters who share a deep love for God and a heart for serving the Richmond, Virginia community. The Alexander Houses was created with a simple mission: to help people experiencing housing insecurity find stability, hope, and a pathway toward permanent living - one bed at a time.
We provide independent living housing for adult menwho have experienced displacement or are facing housing insecurity. Our homes offer a structured, safe, and supportive environment where residents can focus on rebuilding their lives while receiving guidance and connections to valuable community resources.
Our Goal
Our Goal is more than providing a bed. We provide a foundation for the next step. Through structure, accountability, encouragement, and resource support, we help residents work toward greater independence and transition into permanent housing.
At the heart of The Alexander House is our belief that a temporary circumstance does not define a person's future. With the right environment, resources, compassion and opportunity, a new beginning is possible.
